Friends of Farnley
'Working together to be the best we can be'
The school has a small, but dedicated Friends of Farnley group which is open to all parents and friends of the school. Meetings are held regularly and everyone is welcome to attend.
The aim of Friends of Farnley is to raise funds to support the work of the school and to arrange for people to meet socially. It aims to recognise that the word fundraising begins with FUN.
FOF organise various events throughout the year including - Discos, Tuckshops, Mother's and Father's Day stalls and Movie Nights to name a few. They also volunteer to run the Community Café at St. Lucius' Church when children from school attend for a special event. The children thoroughly enjoy all the events the parent group runs and the school is very appreciative of their work.
Every year, FOF kindly pay for the transport to and from the Pantomime and organise the Year 5 leavers events.
