A Christmas round up
We have all been so busy and had so much fun at school in the run up to Christmas. Here is a snippet of what we all got up to.
The ice cream van came to school!!
As a treat from all of the staff, we bought everyone an ice cream!
The children have been so well behaved all year and put a lot of effort into things that have been asked of them. The progress that everyone has made in their learning is very evident of this!
The children (and adults) were all very appreciative and it was a lovely morning shared by us all!
Healthy, Safe and Happy Week
What a week we had! We had visits from the Police, GP's and Sports Coaches. We have had Peer Massage sessions, Circuit training, Yoga, Boxercise and a full school walk to Thurstonland! The children showed off their pre-existing knowledge as well as learning an awful lot, all whilst representing Farnley Tyas First School in such a wonderful manner.
Celebrating our out of school achievements!
The children were asked to bring in any achievements that they might have had at home and we might not know about in school. We were really surprised at the array of stars and talents our children have!
